Peter is a South Wales based full time artist working in oil and watercolour, and is a member of The Royal Society Of Marine Artists, the Royal Watercolour Society of Wales and the Pure Watercolour Society.

He will be recognised by many as the Welsh Watercolour expert on the recent television series of Watercolour Challenge, where his obvious skill wooed both the participents and the viewers.

Peter is a self-taught painter in the plein air tradition, and has been painting in Watercolours for a living for over thirty years, and Oils for around ten. As he says himself, "it’s a long time but engaging with the natural world using paint and brushes is a sublime experience and it’s a journey with no end".

We're thrilled to have Peter's very distinctive watercolours in PBFA - he is a master of his craft and his sublime watercolours are immediately recognised for its wet-in-wet and crisp passages. We have two of Peter's paintings ourselves, and we urge you to start collecting his work!
